Sharing and passing on 25 years of hands-on experience

Using a blend of Business Coaching, Mentoring and Consulting, which I tailor to the specific needs of each individual Client, and drawing on my own personal background of 25 years hands-on experience in business in a variety of roles, I work predominantly with SME’s in the £1m -15m turnover category.

These tools enable me to tailor, ideas, programmes and solutions to enable my Clients to achieve optimum results regardless of the size, stage or nature of their business.

It’s my job to listen, to analyse and to guide. We’re not talking therapy – quite the opposite. My role is to recognise your strengths, remind you of your talents, and help you to expand the entrepreneurial skills you’ve always had.

As a Business Growth and Transformation Specialist, and often acting as a sounding board, I work very collaboratively in partnership with my Clients to help them to achieve their goals and ambitions. Often there is a change in the direction of the business or diversification that requires problem-solving skills that the business does not have in-house.

I help my Clients in many ways including helping them to solve problems, tackle challenges, exploit opportunities, set objectives and new targets, brainstorm ideas, create solutions and implement processes to help their businesses to grow and prosper.

My involvement frequently involves strategic input in terms of refreshing and re-writing business plans with the objective of helping to take the businesses I am working with to the next level and achieving sustainable growth.

My role can also involve helping Clients with their exit strategy several years ahead of a planned sale in order to ensure that the business is fully saleable and will realise the best price for the Business Owner when the time does come to sell.

What working with me
might involve

There’s no pressure from me. I start with a blank canvas, listen to your own unique set of circumstances then outline how I believe we can work together to achieve your goals and ambitions, grow your business and take it to the next level.

There’s no smoke and mirrors. Just a lot of hard work and expertise applied to the issues at hand. And that can cover almost anything. It might simply involve me suggesting better ways of doing things – different systems, different processes, different management structures, different responsibilities etc.

It could include defining new goals, or new targets and recommending ways to achieve them and it often involves rethinking entire operating procedures or planning and creating a total restructure.

In effect, I will be a fresh pair of eyes, immersed in your business and culture, with a mission to deliver a business that’s stronger, more focused, and better prepared to deal with the challenges ahead.
